Cruise the Gorge “Show in the Shade”

There’s plenty to do at CRUISE THE GORGE 2013!

Early registration (optional) will occur on Friday, August 9, at Burgerville beginning at 5 PM. Following early registration is the famous, fabulously fun “Neon Cruise” downtown The Dalles. If you loved “American Graffiti” then you’ll love “cruisin’ the gut” starting about 7 PM and lasting well into the evening.

Cruise the Gorge “Show in the Shade” is held August 10, 2013, in beautiful Sorosis Park (under the trees in the shade), 350 E. Scenic Drive, overlooking the The Dalles and the Columbia River. Registration at the park occurs from 9 AM until noon. The “Parade of Champions” awards ceremony starts at 3 PM. Goodie bags and dash plaques will be awarded to the first 250 entries.

For those wishing to take in a second car show, the relaxing “Threshing Bee Car Show ” in Dufur Park, 13 miles south of The Dalles, occurs on Sunday, August 11, starting at 9 AM. For additional information about the Threshing Bee Car Show contact Jason Davis at 541-993-8969.
